The Miami-Dade County Public Schools family has a rich tradition of goodwill and humanitarianism within and beyond our community. We need your support again.

This past weekend, an exceptionally destructive, Hurricane Dorian caused unprecedented and extensive damage after spending more than 40 hours over the Bahamas.  Homes and businesses in the Bahamas are completely destroyed and the country is inundated with an extraordinary amount of flooding.

All donations will be sent to Operation Helping Hands activated by United Way of Miami-Dade, the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald and Univision 23 to help with relief, rebuilding and recovery efforts.

100% of all donations to Operation Helping Hands will go directly to supporting response efforts in the affected areas. Operation Helping Hands will work with local United Ways and nonprofit agencies in the affected areas to support both immediate and long-term recovery needs.

Thank you for your caring and generosity!
